Stockport in general can be quite good for reception from Winter Hill, if you live in Marple Bridge and parts of Romiley then things can be a bit more of a struggle with relay stations being an option giving you Freeview Lite service.

Chorley in most cases is excellent for Tv Aerial reception and on many of the new estates like Buckshaw Village tv aerials can be mounted in the loft if the right type of splitter and aerial combination are used. This installation is on Chancery Fields near Astley Village Chorley.

This is another quality TV Aerial fitted to a heavy duty wall bracket after chimney stack has been dropped, mzr 12 tv aerial fitted in Bolton can serve up to six tvs with just the one aerial.

Crewe is quite a weak reception for Winter Hill High Gain aerials such as this are used in these areas if you wish to distribute to more than the one room a 4 way masthead amplifier will solve this proble,

Haslingden is difficult to get reception from winter hill as with this job done today the only option is Haslingden relay station offering a Freeview Lite service.

Chorley with its close proximity to Winter Hill is usually excellent so multi room installations are quite easy as this job done by us today, a 3 room installation for the fully fitted price of 130.00 complete fitted today.

 The splitters we use on the mast are in 2,3,4 and 6 way so in areas like chorley in most cases amplifiers arent needed.

Brinscall near Chorley can have issues with reception from Winter Hill,

If you are down in the bottom of the village then you may find you have to use the Brinscall relay station which is a low powered transmitter ouputting 2w very localised the aerial needs to be vertical mounted as in the picture you will get Freeview Lite service from this transmitter.

 Tuning Frequencies are 21,22 and 27

Looks as though the north west is in for another week of bad weather with high winds and heavy rain, things to look out for is rust in the coax plug where it plugs into television if so you may have water ingress at the aerial, if so likeley to need an aerial and cable replacement, is your aerial secure on the roof can be dangerous if loose and ready to fall down.

Radcliffe is my hometown and reception for tv aerials is usually excellent due to its flat locality and close range to transmitter at winter hill there are a few new developments in radcliffe which can benefit by putting the aerial in the loft.

Manchester is usually good for tv reception with the exception of whalley range, withington, rusholme, the main problem being in a built up area is signal deflection which can interupt the siganal arriving at your aerial.

Stockport is in most areas very good for tv aerial reception, only issues are romiley and marple where reception from winter hill can be a problem if you are experiencing problems please get in touch.

TV Aerial reception in Bucksahw village is in most cases excellent and a lot of aerials we do are in the loft as this is a new estate no spoiling your new build property.

TV Aerial reception in Caddishead is in most cases excellent with a clear line of sight to winter hill.

Darwen can be be quite difficult for reception from winter hill with the east side of the valley allowing reception from there, if you live on the west side of darwen you can tune to hoddlesden relay station where there is a freeview lite service.

Wigan is usually excellent for reception from winter hill with it being approx 8 miles to transmitter

Blackburn can be quite difficult for reception from winter hill and sometimes it is only possible to pick up from a relay station offering a freeview lite service

Cuddington is usually good for recption from Winter Hill with multiroom from the one aerial possible.

TV Aerial Installation in Warrington in most cases is excellent due to it being flat with a c;ear line of sight to Winter Hill.

New Mills can often struggle with reception from main transmitter at Winter Hill there is however your local relay station offering a Freeview Lite service

If you don't have a chimney the option is to wall mount usually on a gable end but as with terrace houses this is not always possible the only solution is to wall mount, all aerial-tek jobs are carried out as part of the standard price inclusive of a heavy duty wall bracket and either a straight mast or a crank mast to clear the gutters or the facia board.
